This is a private course that is so expensive to join, a DJ can never think about it, BUT once a year on June 11th to celebrate it's namesake, they open the course up for a special "locals only" day.
$95.00 gets you a round of golf, with cart, a hat, towel and a nice lunch buffett. The money goes to Maui groups that are non-profit and on each par 3, each group has a "closest to the pin" $5.00 to enter deal.
I played with my buddy Alan and he won twice, on one hole he took First place with 3'11'' I think and the other hole he took 3rd with 11' something I believe.
It's a beautiful course with very fast greens and a awesome view from, well, everyplace!
I shot a 91 with 2 birdies! Alan shot an 83...a great time was had by all!
